State Reps. Bryan Shupe & Charles Postles, and State Sen. Dave Wilson, are assisting Milford officials on a project to improve traffic safety throughout the city.

Using a portion of their Community Transportation Fund allotments, the three legislators are purchasing 400 stop signs. Over the next few months, the new signs will replace existing ones, many of which can no longer be easily seen by motorists. The poor visibility has caused some vehicle operators to inadvertently drive into intersections where they should have stopped.
